RIP Lt Rader and thank you to all the Typhoon crews for everything they did for us, we will remember you all through RB.
Erik Haabjörn had a colourful career with Typhoons baling out twice while commanding 124 Wing and being shot down by Spitfires in his early career with 56 Squadron. The pictures show Erik himself and after the war he continued in the Norwegian air force for a short while but after growing bored with 'flying a desk' he formed his own company ferrying aircraft. After surviving three emergencies in Typhoons he was unfortunately lost on a ferry flight from Goose Bay to Greenland.
