•Definitely not where I had hoped to be by this point, but still working out the kinks. Deadlift feels like a different movement than it did a number of kg of bodyweight ago.

because i know there’s ladies out there who need to hear it: wear the damn shorts.
i think i can count on one hand the amount of times i’ve worn shorts to the gym, solely because i was insecure about how my legs looks when i was walking, jumping, or lifting.
but you know what, my legs are strong and do a lotttttt of things for me with every few complaints, so i’m going to wear the damn shorts and show them off!!
if you have cellulite, scars, stretch marks, all or none of the above, you can and SHOULD still wear the shorts if you want to! whatever society says about how women should cover up their imperfections is SOME BS. we all know that!!
so this is me wearing the damn shorts and loving it!! the @balanceathletica breeze shorts are also leg day approved so i 11/10 recommend 😍 even though is was 50 and raining it was well worth it because i felt good af in the gym today for the first time in a minute 🤟🏻 ...

Haven't done this type of volume in forever. Last set was more difficult than I thought it would be, but not terribly out of range. Phone cut off of storage mid second set. Oops, that was probably my best set too.
Conventionals felt amazing in the first set. Took too long of a break and I guess the fatigue from the squat volume kicked in. Kept it light towards the end.
