Happy hump day fit fam! 💖💪🏼 hit a damn good lower body session early this morning before clinicals! I’m on the 2nd week of progressing the lifts I picked and it’s going gooooood 🔥

✨If all social media platforms were randomly deleted who would you be? .... ✨

Kind of a random thing I have been thinking a lot about lately. But.... it’s interesting to think if there wasn’t a platform to show a highlight reel would you put the same amount of effort in? Would you show up to work on your health/body for you and only you if there wasn’t somewhere to present your success? Would you have more confidence because you weren’t comparing yourself to others? Where would you find your motivation? Would you focus more on you than worrying about what others were doing? Would you grow more or less? 
One question I get asked often is “why don’t you share everything about your day?” And the answer is my day is pretty boring 😂 and I can’t imagine a life where I lived through an app. By trade I am a photographer so yes I do document a lot of my life outside of fitness related things. But I also love to live and experience life not through a phone. About a year ago my son was talking to me while I was on my phone and in the middle of the conversation he asked if I could do that later (meaning not be on my phone). At this moment I realized how much time we spend on our phones and not engaging in real life. So since that day I have taken a slight step back. Some may not understand or live differently but this is me..

Want a stronger, more shapely set of glutes? Try this step up variation- THE OFFSET HIP DOMINANT STEP UP... 🔺by holding a heavier weight in the opposite hand of the leg that you are stepping with, you force your glutes to work harder to stabilize the hip.

After weeks of knee pain & no squats I can still do 285lbs. 😭😍

Now that I won't be working soon again I can focus on strength training 💪because boy I sure miss it. Having to work and not have motivation to go to the gym after work is really tiring. -
