Been settling back into uni for last 2 weeks and drinking too much so despite still gyming lots and acc eating really well I’ve not been feeling in great shape. I know it’s obviously helpful to show the gd and bad times with body image and fitness journeys etc but tbh the last thing I feel like doing when I don’t feel lean is standing in front of mirror and taking pics because all I do is critique myself🙃. But back to it now and let me know if there’s any workout vids or food thinggs you want to see xxx.

Training in a sport isn’t meant to be easy on your body. Aches and pains are bound to come up. But if you don’t neglect your recovery, it won’t neglect you! Show your muscles some love and use “EMILY10” on your way out to save 🤑.

take risks, darling. take risks, take risks, take risks. i know how hard it can be to finally do the things you are scared of: opening up, confessing your feelings to someone, quitting that job you do not like, starting a new job, quitting university if it turns out to be the wrong path, cutting out a toxic person, leaving that relationship, moving out from home, travelling on your own etc. .

in the end, what you are going to regret are the things you did not do, not the things you did. do not let fear hold you back. all of these are big steps and therefore you are going to feel anxious, unsure, maybe even heartbroken at the beginning, but it will be so worth it. Do not let fear get in the way - you might miss out on something incredibly special. and i promise you, you would regret it if you did not do that thing. .

Had the most amazing weekend celebrating all things Fall (mainly football, Apple cider, pumpkin donuts and the cutest petting zoo)... ya know what I didn’t do? Workout or eat healthy.

Now, truth be told I feel a little blah (but that could be the 4 donuts I ate in one sitting 🙈🍩) but that’s simply bc I’m out of my routine. And the best way to fix that is to MAKE a PLAN.

Mine starts with:
1. Water. Seriously, drink it. 
2. Prepping my lunches for work. This weeks plan is grilled chicken with roasted peppers and cauliflower rice, topped with avocado. 
3. Plan my {tentative} workout schedule. I say tentative, bc let’s be realistic - life happens and adaptability is key! But having a plan in place helps me stay accountable and prioritize my days.
4. Sleep. Probably the one thing I’m the worst about. I usually try to survive on 5-6hrs a night, but that’s not smart. Making an effort to get a minimum of 7hrs sleep every night, 8hrs if I’m feeling really ambitious 😜. __________ 
Did you see anything missing in there? Yeah, no cleanses. No debloating tricks. No quick low carb days. No abusive workout schedule. Because your body knows how to care for itself without the gimmicks. Just treat it right and you’ll be more than fine.
