It felt so good to be back at the gym today 😩 Last week my workout schedule was so wack. I only went to the gym 2x because...well sh*t happens and it was one of those weeks ya know.

Because of that, I’m so motivated for this week. My main goal is to prioritize my workouts. I’m aiming for 5 workouts and I’m pumped af. Make time to go to the gym always! I know sometimes it’s not possible, but at least try to 😊

trained quads this am :P I challenge everyone to plan out their week, write down your training split and GO WITH IT. Once I have a set plan in mind I don’t like changing that plan. Write out your workouts for each day of the week. Write out your whole day in your planner whether it be work, school, homework, exercise, meal planning, + of course !!! time for yourself, God, & self development. keeping a checklist of your schedule and even giving yourself a timeframe to complete each task will keep your day organized and get you into a great habit of getting your physical and mental health in check. Give yourself no choice, but to follow that planner aka f the bs excuses!!!! (if I wrote it down all pretty in my markers and surrounded it with stickers n such I’m making that happen heheheh) when I’m on point with my routine, gym + diet + self development = the happiest and stress free my mind could be ✨✨✨✨ prioritize your mental and physical health throughout each day & there will be absolutely no reason for the progress not to show 🦋🌙👼🏼

LETS TALK ABOUT MUSCLE GROWTH 💪🏻 We all know it takes time and dedication to grow. Doesn’t take overnight. 
Though here are some tips which can help you going! ✨Consistency is 🔑 If you want to start seeing progress you will need to be going to the gym in a regular fashion. ✨Progressive overload. Make sure when you are working out that you are increasing your weights! However, make sure you are switching up your exercises. As you work on the same exercises, progressing overloading your muscles will become accustomed and not make much change. ✨Rest! Rest, is just as important as working out. After your workouts your body replaces or repairs damaged muscle fibres which help build new ones. ✨Protein intake! Make sure you eating the right amount protein to help repair/build the muscles. I struggle to hit my protein goals but try and consume more protein shakes or protein bars. If your like me and can’t drink milky shakes try the @myprotein clear whey. GAME CHANGER! Can drink 2/3 per day. 
And finally, PATIENCE. Please don’t get discouraged if you don’t see much progress. Everyone’s journey is different so not saying you will get the same results as the next person. Trust the process ❤️
