It can be easy in these oppressive, polluted, patriarch-driven, slave-labor days, to become consumed by working & chasing the 💵 $... Truth be told, the tension - physical, mental, & emotional - that comes from/with our responsibilities can add up... & is capable of depleting our energy, health, & level of wellbeing.
👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼 Perspective is everything. We are far from hopeless. We can’t get jealous or envy those who have created freedom in their lives - we must remember we are one w/ all & praise the vibration of what we wish to be or have. When we get too concerned with what we want or don’t have, we forget about the greater whole that we’re all a part of. The ego controls most of us just as powerfully as 💰 money does, but gratitude 🙏🏽 has the power to shut the ego down!
Thankfully, there are so many tools available to us, for awakening peacefully. Through yoga, breathing practices, singing or chanting, mantras, mudras, 🧘🏼♀️ meditation, mindfulness, eating a high-vibratory diet - all of these things allow our divine motivation to reveal itself while helping us remove tension, stress, & pain. We also have herbs, crystals, flower essences, & essential oils! When we Self-soothe, the parasympathetic system retakes control & we become free from the “fight-or-flight” response. When we care for our body, our immune system is strengthened. By taking preventative measures (& truly caring for our body here & now) - we experience wellness and peace, And we’re less likely to be in a position where we have to fight dis-ease! .
Yoga is more than the poses (aka asanas). Yoga had to do with the psyche and the transcendental Self - our divine, spiritual existence , and balance. ☯️ The 5 pillars of Yogic Balance (according to Swami Sivananda) are:
