A diet's results are mostly dictated by caloric intake. For a simple explanation, eat more than you burn and you will gain weight, eat less than you burn and you will lose weight.
To get into a more detailed approach, macronutrients play an important role too. They mostly determine body composition. High protein diets lead to lean muscle mass gain/preservation and also fat loss. Protein should be the 1st macro you take account of. Carbs and fats should complete the diet, from a caloric standpoint and should be chosen by the individual's prefferences. None of them should be excluded.
Micronutrients and fiber play a roll in well-being and optimal performance. Vitamins are necessary for energy production, immune function, blood clotting and other functions. Meanwhile, minerals play an important role in growth, bone health, fluid balance and several other processes. Dietary fiber has various health benefits : feed gut bacteria, reduce appetite, lower cholesterol and many other. -
Nutrient timing matters less when all of the other aspects are reached. You should choose the timing of the nutrients according to your prefference and lifestyle. This and the food choices will probably dictate your adherence to the diet.
And, finally, supplements. Most people ask about the supplement list before they cover all the other aspects. And this is totally wrong. Supplements play their role in a diet but are NOT necessary. They can aid with defficiencies or add that little extra. Remember, they supplement something. The diet.

Today I ordered a venti iced coffee, no classic, 2 pumps of sugar free cinnamon dolce, 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla, and a light splash of heavy cream. ITS DELICIOUS!
And while I never see myself giving up my cold brew, the price difference is GREAT! I paid $3.45 for this venti when normally I’d pay $4.70 for my venti cold brew 😱 y’all, if I buy coffee 3 times a week, that’s a whole other coffee in savings! And who doesn’t like saving money?! ...
