Not just detecting the distance, this Arduino project estimates the speed of a running car, 🚘 which should be one of our favorite prototypes that combined with Ultrasonic Sensor.🤖

A scientist in Canada 🇨🇦 may be bringing science fiction a little bit closer to reality. The scientist, Dr. Roel Vertegaal, has invented a system called TeleHuman, which eerily resembles the “holodeck” of sci-fi fame.
TeleHuman is a holographic video 📽 conferencing system. Here's how it works: the system uses Kinect sensors 🔍 and a 3D projector to take life-size, 3D images of each participant 🙋. Then, TeleHuman sends the images to a cylindrical display unity. TeleHuman also allows multiple viewers to walk around the hologram and interact with each other. Dr. Vertegaal says TeleHuman allows people to communicate non-verbally, even over a great distance, with a level of realism that can't be found with a Skype or a Facetime chat 💬.
Would you try holographic video conferences? Is this the way of the future? Give us your thoughts in the comments section.
