Recomendo o filme e o restaurante. Nota mil!!! .
Our Easter lunch today was at @villabiancanw 3 . Established over 30 years ago, Villa Bianca is located in a quiet, quintessential, side-street in fashionable Hampstead.
Its sophisticated ambiance, extensive menu and carefully selected wine list, has made it the only haunt for those wishing to savour Italian cuisine at its best.
Someone once tried to drill the notion “no man is an island” into my brain and I wasn’t really prepared to listen, since I pride myself on being self-sufficient and independent. But once I reviewed the 3-month process that enabled #TastetheCulture to actually happen, I realised I couldn’t kid myself any longer.
The truth is, as much as it has been a struggle to admit, those around me are the key to my success. Without them, I doubt my dreams would ever become reality.
And I am so grateful for each and every person who made me realise this. So I want to shout them out.
From volunteering 3 months of her time, even though she didn’t know me (@kimikobean )

To making a 3 hour playlist all the way from Abidjan (@jeunelio )
To buying a ticket even if they were not able to make it (some of them don’t even live in the U.K. 😫) so I could give them to someone else (@afrofoodie , @sandra_apg , @datumdodo , @mimiisabella_ )
To my Senegalese family who contributed their artwork with absolutely no question (@aldidiasse , @badarapreira , @thelensofnovakane , @baba 1700 and @Jatouna in particular)
To those who listened to me GO ON about Taste the Culture for months but never complained or seemed annoyed, giving me so much advice that made the event what it was (@marty_sandiego , @hellodillon , @misterlevius , @cath_onu , @marissasworld_x , @stylisa , @benedicteking )
To agreeing right away to speak at my event (@dipyourtoesin , @Blackvoyageurs , @yasmin_tells )
And to the Senegalese people I met in London who were very active in helping me plan the event, offering resources etc, for no other reason than loving their country (@aisha_baba , @kinesira , @belleimichelle )
I’m sure I’ve missed some people (I’m sorry!), but thank you for making me realise that I have so many people in my corner. ❤️❤️❤️ #melanintravel#tastetheculture 📸: @ezrany ...
