Mom life-attempting to dry fire with a goofy son. Lol wouldn't have it any other way. 😂 .
On a serious note though the last two weeks I've been trying to add a little target transition into my dry fire. I'm trying to lead my eyes to my target before my gun. At first I felt like I did it so robotically that it was almost NOT saving me time leading as much as I was but I feel like I'm finding a better balance of looking first at a comfortable rate while in motion...nit every time though so this is definitely a drill I will be continuing to do. I'm told frequently the best way to train myself new skills is to slow down but my biggest problem yet....I'm not so good at that "if you ain't first your last Ricky bobby!" 🤘🤘😉 no seriously though that's my biggest challenge to date. I hear that buzzer, or I draw my gun...and my excitement takes over. Since I'm learning that's just part of me and the way I train I'm at least embracing it and telling myself to stick to one drill for an adequate amount of time to set habits. Wanna know what the other challenge is? Moving that damn hand of mine down before I draw....I picked up a crap habit of setting my forearm on my mag before drawing and now my body seriously will not allow me to rest my arm at its side. Lol as I look back at my videos I can see myself catch it a few times but, so much to think about and my brain just wants to by pass it all and be the best 😂 Here we are though, improving every day and the best part HAVING FUN WITH IT! I'm far from a pro but I really do love what I do, it's the best hobbie there is 😁😁❤
