Spent the whole day diving into redux.
Boy there’s a lot of work setting this up 😂
〰️
I did the “Redux crash course with React” by @traversymedia ➡️ this channel has become my favourite YouTube channel when it comes to quickly understanding something new. Specially when you learn quicker by doing instead of reading (like myself. 😅)
〰️
My plan is to watch it again now and take notes on every step so I’ll understand deeper each step and why to use it. 〰️
What have you been up to?

Happy Monday!🤠

⌨️This weekend I did several things. I almost end the API that I was building just need to add some calculus and refactor the web client. I'm thinking to leave public the API because it's going to be just academic and I really do not need a lot of security there. So, I decided to keep it simple. -
💡Also, I was watching the Gatsby Bootcamp by Andrew Meat on YouTube to understanding how this framework works with Graphql, which is an amazing tool to work with.
-
👉🏻Most people run GraphQL on a server to respond live to requests for data from clients. You define a schema (a schema is a formal way of describing the shape of your data) for your GraphQL server and then your GraphQL resolvers retrieve data from databases and/or other APIs.
-
👉🏻Gatsby uses GraphQL at build-time and not for live sites. This is unique, and it means you don’t need to run additional services (e.g. a database and Node.js service) to use GraphQL for production websites.
-
👉🏻Gatsby is a great framework for building apps so it’s possible and encouraged to pair Gatsby’s native build-time GraphQL with GraphQL queries running against a live GraphQL server from the browser.
