Unaware he would eventually be responsible for countless Star Wars jokes, 230 years ago today astronomer William Herschel discovered Saturn’s moon Mimas.

Yes, it IS a moon. We checked.

Mimas is about 129 miles (207 kilometers) wide, and made almost entirely of water ice. Its most famous crater is called Herschel, and resulted from an impact that probably nearly shattered the tiny world.

Here is the stunning nebula known as NGC 5189, this nebula is an extremely active and vast planetary nebula!
Why is this nebula so complex? When a star like our Sun is dying, it will cast off its outer layers, usually into a simple overall shape. Sometimes this shape is a sphere, sometimes a double lobe, and sometimes a ring or a helix. In the case of planetary nebula NGC 5189, however, no such simple structure has emerged. To help find out why, the Earth-orbiting Hubble Space Telescope recently observed NGC 5189 in great detail. Previous findings indicated the existence of multiple epochs of material outflow, including a recent one that created a bright but distorted torus running horizontally across image center. Results appear consistent with a hypothesis that the dying star is part of a binary star system with a precessing symmetry axis. Given this new data, though, research is sure to continue. NGC 5189 spans about three light years and lies about 3,000 light years away toward the southern constellation of the Fly (Musca).

A lot of people don’t know about the history of humans vs Venus. Every “surface of Venus” picture you’ve seen that wasn’t like this picture, is fake. It’s either computer generated, or a picture of the Martian surface. Another crazy fact is that this picture was taken by the Venera 13 probe in 1982, almost 40 years ago! All that time and this is still the only picture we have of our sister-planets surface.

But why? Well, the reason for this is simple. Venus is hell, literally. With a surface pressure 90 times greater than Earths, and a temperature hot enough to melt lead (462°C), it’s no surprise that most probes sent to Venus didn’t make it. And the ones that did, like the rover that took the picture above, didn’t last very long. The soviets designed the Venera 13 lander to survive for a maximum of 32 minutes on the Venusian surface, however it ended up lasting almost 2 hours, giving the rover more time to conduct experiments.

So the first thing my kids ask me when I get home from Convention is what New Products they came out with... meaning “what new products did they launch for us Mom?”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Last year they truly were so excited that they launched a whole line for them!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
While they didn’t launch a whole line for kids this year, they did add on the much needed Tamer to the kids line.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Tamer: a milder ⁣⁣
formula than Digestzen...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
roll on belly’s & backs for upset stomachs, full bellies, motion sickness, nausea, gas, bloating, and to support a healthy digestive system.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
These oils really play a huge role in our lifestyle and daily life guys. I know it sounds like I am exaggerating but I really can’t imagine our lives without them.⁣

If you would like to start supporting your kids bodies with pure essential oils.... you know where to find me. 🤘🏻☝🏻⁣⁣

_____________________________________ SPECIAL MAGICAL OBJETCS: [THE HOLY GRIAL] Part 1 We open the special magical objects throughout history, and what better way to start with the most famous: the Holy Grail. Protagonist of countless stories, the biblical tradition tells that it was the cup with which Christ shared his last supper. Initially, the term "Holy Grail" was not associated with the Holy Chalice mentioned above. We owe the first appearance of the name to Chretien de Troyes, who wrote "Perceval" in 1190, an unfinished romantic poem. Here the Grail is mentioned as a ceremonial tray, not as a cup. The fusion of the words Holy Grail with the Chalice of the Last Supper is due to the French poet Robert de Boron. Towards the twelfth century, he wrote a poem called Joseph d'Arimathie (Joseph of Arimathea). Here it is affirmed that the Grail is nothing more, nothing less than the chalice used by St. Joseph to collect the blood of Christ during the crucifixion. #history #world #new #latam #god #science ...

Basically, this symbol symbolizes the Universe, Creation and the whole.
