💕 Happy Sunday Friends! I’ve been getting lots of DMs lately about why & how to use our PUMICE so thought I’d refresh for everyone! Here ya go! 👇🏽🤗
💪🏽Pumice Improves the growability & health of your soils
☔️☠️ Prevents overwatering (which is the #1 cause of death in succulents & cacti) & prevents root-rot in the event of unpredicted rain or excess humidity
💚 Is Rich in Minerals that boost health of plants & help faster growth .
💨 Acts as an aeration system, allowing more oxygen to the roots & thru the soil, allowing carbon dioxide to leave the root zone. Plus, it stays mixed into your soil, it won’t float to the top or ever have to be replaced like other soil amendments.
💦 Conserves Water ((each pumice is like a sponge, absorbs excess water & slowly releases it back out into the soil when the soil starts drying out!)) this allows much less frequent watering (which helps the 🐳!) .
💖 Creates drainage in pots that have no drainage holes (like cute decorative pots, terrariums etc) .
🌸 HOW to use: Mix 50% Pumice & 50% cactus soil — or any soil super low in peat moss & coco (they can cause root rot, hold too much water, mold, & attract bugs as they decompose. Once mixed, just plant directly in that! If you’re planting in a pot with no drainage hole I suggest putting a layer of pumice at the bottom of the pot before the soil to catch any excess water, so it doesn’t puddle around the roots! & it’s as simple as that 😎 ...
