I woke up at 6:20 this morning exhausted from a full day of family easter party yesterday! But Im grateful to have that kind of problem and that i was able to have seen so many people i love this weekend. 💕
I rushed to get changed and ready to run because i knew i needed to get started by 7 if i wanted to make it home in time to shower and go to church with my family. Then i got a text from my dad saying we were going to a later service..but i was already about to leave so i just got it done anyways and figured id have more time later. (But then later they decided we should go to the early service again, so actually not really😂)
My run was so peaceful. I stopped to take a pic of this farm because it just looked so serene to me. No one was on the trail, and i listened to worship music and was reminded of why we celebrate this amazing holiday that shines a light on Jesus. We are all imperfect, flawed human beings. That's why it's hard to even fathom why Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross and rose 3 days later for our sins, so we could have eternal life. What did we do to deserve such a loving, selfless God? The least i can do in return is use my life to glorify Him. ❤️ I hope everyone had a happy Easter!
[on a completely unrelated note, I put up a new blog post answering the question i get asked a lot, and ask myself, during marathon training: "why?" // link in bio if you want to check it out]
