Going to learn more about the soft skills for tech workers by visiting the meetup hosted by @codemotionberlin

IT industry has become increasingly complex and fast-moving in the past years and considering that fact, in order to succeed in this new environment, we as developers need to expand our skill set to several other areas and learn how to build self-organizing teams to advance and be more effective in the workplace.

More insights, thoughts and learnings I am going to provide in my upcoming newsletter 📨 Use the link in my bio to read the latest issue +bonus (professional networking cheat sheet) 👆.

[EN] I think that one of the worst mistakes you can make when you are learning programming is to move on without having strong mastery of the basics. You will experience great difficulty with problems involving these concepts and then you will have to go back and study all over again.
.
Today I completed 50% of my React course, finished the section on React with Redux, and the next one is about testing React Components. But I believe I made this mistake of skipping steps, because I tried to learn ES6 + Webpack + Babel + React + Redux + Routing all at once. I was excited to learn more 😬, but I ended up getting overwhelmed.
.
So I decided to pause the video lessons a bit and practice more to put into practice what I have learned. If you have any idea of projects to practice the concepts of React and Redux leave here in the comments please ☺️
.
Have you been through it?

Você também já passou por isso?.

Been reading on Deno (https://deno.land) lately, which a project that’s been slowly gaining some momentum since late last year 🔥🔥⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And I have a strong feeling that it’ll replace Node JS in the future. Just in case you’ve never heard about it before, Deno is a Javascript/Typescript runtime env built on top of V8, similar to NodeJS.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
As a matter of fact, the project was created by the author of NodeJS. It’s being built with a lot more emphasis on security at a low level, which is why it quickly caught many developers’ attention. It’s still in its early stages, so I would definitely not use it in production but it’s useful to take a look and slowly get familiar with it 👨🏻‍💻📚.
