Some people cheers with a glass, others with the whole bottle😬Don't judge 🙃😂
HAPPY BEGINNIG OF THE WEEK TO ALL #winelovers 😊
🍷Atlantis white 2018 Estate Argyros
🍇Assyrtiko grape with a small proportion of Aidani and Athiri, to balance the acidity with the fruit.
👀👃🏼👅Light yellow color, with vibrant aromas of citrus fruits, lemon blossom and delicate notes of exotic fruits.Light body, good balance in the mouth thanks to the wine’s acidity and minerality with a pleasant tingling aftertaste.
🍽Great with fish and seafood, pasta and poultry.
Who said red wines can't go with summer?! 🤷🏻♀️🍷
As @winetimelondon suggested me a while ago, I've included different reds in my summer selection, 'cause I'm a big fan of reds in summer too 🏖️
Here's the proof with the 3rd wine of July!
La Punition by @chateaulesvalentines / Côtes de Provence La Londe AC
2017 / 13%abv / old Carignan + Syrah / Organic wine
🍷 @zaltify Burgundy glass
📖 The vines were planted in 1945, right after WWII. In 2010, they were harvested with great difficulty for the workers: too hot, too dry, too long, not enough grapes... They spent 15 minutes harvesting each vine instead of 1! 😵 That's why the wine was called "La Punition" (aka "Punishment").
🍇 90 year-old vines of Carignan and Syrah. Yields of 20-25hl/ha only.
🍷 Fermented in concrete vats. No wood ageing.
👁️ Medium ruby colour, still slightly purple
👃🏼 Well-defined aromas of medium+ intensity with ripe red fruit (raspberry, cranberry, plum), ripe black fruit (blackberry, cherry🍒), dried fruit (fig, kirsch🍒), flowers (rose🌹), herbs (garrigue, lavender🌿), spices (black pepper, white pepper, liquorice) and notes of bottle age (game, meaty🐗🥓)
👄 Well-balanced dry wine with medium acidity, medium fine-grained tannins, medium+ alcohol, medium+ body and a medium+ finish
Flavours of medium+ intensity with raspberry, plum, cherry, garrigue, pepper and meaty 🍒🌿🥓
✍🏼 A very good wine, fruity, authentic & smooth
🌡️ To serve at 18-20°C
🍷 To drink now or save until 2022 (peak), could last longer...
🍴 With octopus daube, grilled tuna steak & provençal vegetables, pasta with garlic & olive oil, pan bagnat on the beach, onion pizza, barbecue-grilled beef (or lamb) with olives & eggplant tian,... 🐙🍅🍆🥪🥩

Rosé Monday, it’s a thing, right??😋Reminiscing on my trip to Fairfield, CA about a month ago. @gvcellars was one of our favorite stops! And this rosé is a big reason for that.🥂
You’ll want this rosé in your life this summer. 100% Sangiovese grapes. Floral notes, cherries, anise and a hint of tangerine on the nose. The fruit holds back on the palate, allowing the oiliness and mineral notes to be front and center. Soft acidity with a dry finish.
AND...I promise my article on @visitfairfieldca will be out soon! Damn, it’s a process to get something published but will definitely be worth it. I hope you will take a few minutes to read, should be up by the first of August, will keep you posted!🤗Have a great week loves.💕 #alldayrose#gvcellars#visitfairfieldca ...
Usually not a great fan , never really bought any .... but this one was surprisingly good ... would buy again ...
